Co-founder, The Rendon Group Founder, Empower Peace
 

Rick Rendon is an internationally recognized strategic communications executive, social-impact entrepreneur, and event producer with more than four decades of experience advancing youth leadership and civic engagement. He is the Co-Founder and Senior Partner of The Rendon Group and the Founder of Empower Peace, an international nonprofit created in the aftermath of September 11 to harness the power of young people to bridge divides and promote understanding. His work integrates storytelling, media, grassroots organizing, and large-scale experiential events to inspire action on democracy, education, gender equity, racial harmony, public health, and peace.

Through Empower Peace, Rick has launched and led globally respected youth initiatives including the Women2Women International Leadership Program, which has engaged more than 4,400 emerging female leaders from over 90 countries, and Team Harmony, an international youth movement advancing racial and social justice through student-driven action plans and national convenings. He continues to lead innovative, large-scale youth campaigns such as My America: From Ground Zero to Common Ground and INSPIRE, while partnering with organizations including the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration and major corporations to address opioid misuse and fentanyl poisoning. Across all his work, Rick Rendon remains focused on one core mission: empowering the next generation to lead with purpose, courage, and compassion.
