Empowering the Next Generation of Democratic Leaders
BluePrint 2026 is a new statewide initiative sponsored by the Massachusetts Democratic Party designed to train, engage, and elevate the next generation of young Democrats. This program brings together high school and college students from across Massachusetts for hands-on experience in political organizing, campaign strategy, and meaningful participation in the Democratic Party.
Participants will take part in a one-day Political Training Institute on Saturday, April 25, 2026, featuring workshops led by Democratic leaders, organizers, and policy experts. The program culminates in a unique opportunity to serve as a non-voting youth delegation at the Massachusetts Democratic Party’s 2026 Nominating Convention on May 29-30, 2026, offering firsthand insight into party processes, grassroots engagement, and pathways to future leadership.
BluePrint 2026 equips young Democrats with the skills, confidence, and connections needed to contribute meaningfully and help carry the Massachusetts Democratic Party into the future.
This is your opportunity to learn, lead, and shape the future of the Democratic Party.
Application Deadline: Friday, April 3, 2026
“There’s an old rule of thumb in politics that 90 percent of all 90-year-olds vote and 25 percent of all 25-year-olds vote.”
— Joseph P. Kennedy III, Former U.S. Representative from Massachusetts, reflecting on youth turnout and political engagement.
